decisions, decisions...
these past few weeks i spent home makes me think of what should i do wth my life next. a short chat with a good friend makes me think why the hell am i still chilling at home. she's now having her induction and will be posted next few days. it hit me suddenly, i should have settled everything earlier, work faster, earn money faster. too late now. quite hard not to have family members in the same field of work as you are, i had to find out everything myself. from calling the SPA for interview result until how to register wth KKM and MMC. called SPA today, praise to Allah, i passed the test. now what's left is to register with MMC and KKM at Putrajaya. that can only be done after i come back from sumpah ceremony, which will be on 12th Nov. say the process take 3 months, i'll start working at least by the end of January next year. not too late though, i still have time to enjoy (not so) my life. i still have hard time to decide where i want to work. for now, my option will be, first Kuantan, second Selangor, third Terengganu. for so many reasons i dont want to work in Terengganu. say uncle "why do you choose to go back to your own colony?" haha, funny. my simple answer to him was "you should ask my beloved mom"

lepak-ing at parsley
woke up hungry, we decided to have some decent food. i hate choosing a place to eat, i rather starve. so hubby decided to eat at parsley. the thought of having a nice cup of coffee while enjoying the slow music and cozy sofa make my day. soon as we reached, i ordered chicken oriental and caramel blast while hubby ordered nasi goreng indonesia, ice cappucino and breaded chicken basket. haa, nothing feels more relaxing than chilling with hubby, talk nonsense, reminiscing the good old times.

Buerger's Disease
Also known as Thromboangiitis Obliterans, is an inflammatory thrombosis of small and medium sized arteries in hands and legs. this disease is highly related to SMOKING (almost 100%), predominantly effects men aged 20-40. the first symptom, you'll sometime see small blister on your skin, red and sometimes painful. this is called superficial thrombophlebitis which the small vein near to your skin has been inflamed.
as the disease progress (depends on your tobacco consumption), more arteries blocked and less foods and oxygen can reach to your distal extremities, causing more tissues to die. at this point your extremities will feel cold, painful at rest, lessen when you hang your leg at the edge of the bed, the skin color may change from pale to bluish or even darkened (gangrene). pulse at the extremities affected can be weakened or can be no pulse at all. once it become gangrened, it's irreversible. the death tissue will be a favorable place for the bacteria to develop causing infection. since no blood can reach there so your body defense mechanism cannot reach and kill the bacterias. infection will be worse and can be life-threatening. once the leg is unusable and endanger, the only way out is AMPUTATION.
now, to avoid this, prevention steps must be taken. if you are a smoker, STOP SMOKING. a predisposition factor must be eliminated such as high cholesterol, Diabetes Mellitus and stress. so life modification is important. starting by quit smoking, eating healthy food, avoid high cholesterol food and too much salts. eat more fibers, exercise frequently, treat your foot well (a reason for mani/pedicure :p) and SMILE.

Khitan Bersama Pundi Amal SCTV

we were very excited to join this event (at least i was). borrowed manual from junior the day before to study on circumcision techniques, even watched the video several times. total patients for the day was 150. there were 15 residents and 20 of us, so each one of us shall get plenty of patient to sharpen our skills. anna and i were the first one to arrive (at 7.30 in the morning), singed attendance, had breakfast and waited for others to arrive. around 10 am the event started. we divide each person to each bed, assisting a resident. (i couldn't remember who did i assist, sorry dr). after assisting 5 patients i asked him to let me do it by myself. he hesitated at first afraid that it would take time. he gave it to me after all, and whada ya know, i was quite skillful. haha. after that, he asked me to take turn with him. overall, i assisted 7 circumcisions and did 5 by myself. not bad huh? we finished at 2pm, had lunch, took some pictures for memory, and went back. and there goes our sunday. there were some performances by some indonesian artist earlier that morning but we didn't get see them. everybody was too excited to circumcise. haha. but, i got to know some of them which later offer me to join some Sunsilk competition. (which i discover soon he had other purpose, yearks!)
